Celebrating Growth, New Beginnings, and Achievements at Twin Springs Counseling
There’s been a lot to celebrate at Twin Springs Counseling lately! We’re excited to share a few updates from our practice, including a new beginning for one of our longtime clinicians, a warm welcome to a new therapist, and a very well-deserved award for our practice owner.
After being part of the Twin Springs Counseling community since 2024, Lilli Norris, LCSW, is heading west and starting an exciting new chapter in Fort Collins, Colorado, where she has opened her own practice, Playful Pines Counseling.
Lilli first became connected with our community through the Lawrence County Youth Mental Health program, where she completed her MSW practicum. After completing her practicum, she joined Sara at Twin Springs Counseling and continued growing as a clinician while working with children and families in both Bedford and Bloomington.
Lilli has also played an important role in training and supporting the next generation of therapists through her work as a task instructor with the Lawrence County Youth Mental Health program.
We are going to miss having Lilli here, but we couldn’t be more excited to see her take this next step. Starting a practice of her own is an incredible accomplishment, and we know she will bring the same thoughtfulness, creativity, and care to the families she works with in Colorado.
Congratulations, Lilli! We’re so proud of you and can’t wait to see what’s ahead for Playful Pines Counseling.
Those in the Fort Collins area can learn more about Lilli through her Headway profile.
We’re also excited to welcome Kit Blythe Smith, LSW, to the Twin Springs Counseling team!
Kit works with children, adolescents, and adults and offers both in-person and telehealth sessions. His clinical interests include supporting clients navigating the intersection of neurodiversity and mental health, with an emphasis on creating a neurodiversity-informed and affirming space.
Kit is currently accepting new clients, and we’re excited to have him join our practice and bring his perspective and experience to the Twin Springs community.

Last, but certainly not least, we want to celebrate Sara Bagby Farmer, LCSW, the owner and founder of Twin Springs Counseling, for receiving the 2026 Outstanding Mental Health Provider Award.
Sara has spent years serving children and families in our community, first through nonprofit work and now through Twin Springs Counseling. Since founding the practice, she has worked to expand access to trauma-informed care while also creating opportunities for newer clinicians to learn, grow, and develop their skills.
Congratulations, Sara, on this well-deserved recognition! We’re grateful for your leadership and everything you continue to do for our clients, our clinicians, and the broader mental health community.
We’re grateful for all of the changes and growth happening within our practice. Each of these milestones reflects something we value deeply at Twin Springs: growth, connection, mentorship, and quality care for the people and communities we serve.
Here’s to new beginnings and everything still ahead!
